Cellulite Reduction

About Cellulite Reduction

Cellulite is one of the most difficult concerns to treat and requires a multi-step approach for the best results. Around 90% of women have this common concern, which is caused by many factors including poor blood circulation, hormone imbalance and hereditary factors. Cellulite appears when fat cells below the surface of the skin swell. The skin appears to have areas with underlying fat deposits, giving it a dimpled and lumpy appearance.

At Sculptic Clinic, we use a two-step approach combining Ultrasound Fat Cavitation and Radio Frequency Fat Melting to help melt the fat, regenerate collagen, improve circulation and smoothen the surface of the skin, achieving real and visible results for our clients.

Step 1: Ultrasound Fat Cavitation

Ultrasound Fat Cavitation is a fat reducing, non-invasive body contouring treatment which targets localised fat and deep cellulite.

Step 2: Radio Frequency Fat Melting Radio Frequency

Fat Melting works to melt and flatten the fat cells, resulting in a smoother appearance to the skin. Radio Frequency Fat Melting is a great treatment for cellulite as it works to target superficial layers of fat by melting and flattening the fat cells, which reduces the appearance of cellulite.

More Information

This section details some of our most frequency asked questions about the treatment. It also includes information about what you should some pre & post treatment advice. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

How many treatments would I need?

Cellulite is a super stubborn concern to treat. We recommend starting with 8 sessions on a weekly basis as a minimum, and then reassess the results at the 8th week mark. Most clients require more than 8 weeks to achieve defined and noticeable results. Do I need to diet and exercise? Cellulite hates a healthy lifestyle, so we definitely recommend exercising to improve circulation, and minimise the appearance of cellulite. We also recommend drinking lots of water to keep hydrated, and to help flush out all of the toxins from the body.

Will I feel any pain during the treatments?

Not at all. Our treatments are completely pain-free, and treating cellulite is said to even feel like a nice and warm massage.

What is the difference between a Single and Double session?

Single, 40 Minute Session

  • Outer thighs, back of thighs & bum lift
  • Front of thighs and thigh gap lift
  • Upper arms
  • Non-surgical bum lift
  • INTENSIVE Thigh gap lift
  • INTENSIVE Stomach

Double, 80 Minute Session

  • Entire thighs (including thigh gap) and bum lift
  • You may also have double (80MIN) sessions combining any two single sessions, e.g. upper arms and back of thighs; or stomach and front of thighs; or back and front of thighs etc. Any combination is fine!

Cellulite Reduction Treatment Advice

Pre Treatment Advice

The pre-treatment advice for clients is fairly simple as opposed to other inch loss treatments. To get the best from the service it is recommended they get their body prepared and ‘cleansed’ for treatment by:

  • Increasing water intake.
  • Reducing toxins from the body (caffeine, tobacco, alcohol).
  • Avoid alcohol 24-48 hours prior to treatment.
  • Reduce intake of fatty foods, and increase consumption of fruit and vegetables.

Post Treatment Advice

Following their treatment, the client should be advised to:

  • Increase water intake and drink a minimum of 2 litres of water per day to assist with the ‘flushing’ out of the crystallized lipids in the fat cells.
  • Increase water intake and drink a minimum of 2 litres of water per day to assist with the ‘flushing’ out of the crystallized lipids in the fat cells.
  • Follow a healthy, balanced diet.
  • Avoid alcohol for 24-48 hours.
  • Avoid heat treatments (saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds, etc.) for 24 hours.
  • Exercise a minimum of 1 hour per week (advised but not essential).
  • Dry body brush the treatment area twice a day working toward the nearest lymph nodes – this helps to stimulate the lymphatic system and accelerate the fat removal.
  • Lymphatic massage can also help with accelerating the process of removing the fat cells.
